How to Care for Your Sponge

The best part about the JesSea sponge bar is that after the soap is gone, you can continue using your natural sea sponge. Once the soap is finished, rinse the sponge thoroughly, then soak it in a bowl using a 10:1 water-to-vinegar ratio. After soaking, gently squeeze out excess water and allow it to dry on a clean surface. A sunny spot is ideal. Repeat this cleaning process every 2–3 weeks to keep your sponge fresh and long-lasting.
